Inaugurated by Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Alhaji Muhamad Mumuni, on 25 March, 2011, the Institute of Diplomatic Practice and Development Policies (I – 2DP) is a centre for training in Diplomatic Practice and Development Policy Research. It is located in the Nyansapo House at East Legon, a suburb in Accra, Ghana, barely twelve minutes drive from the Kotoka International Airport.
Located within the Nyansapo House, I-2DP has an Auditorium which accommodates one hundred and five (105) persons, a Conference/Lecture Room for forty-five (45) persons, a Cafeteria/Bar and Lounge for programme participants and offices for the Executive Director and other permanent staff members. Twenty-two (22) luxury rooms are available within the Nyansapo House to accommodate programme participants as well as special delegations to meetings in Accra
